I wanted to share with you my thoughts on the East Midlands airport lounge. We visited the East Midlands lounge when we flew to Kos on holiday. East Midlands is about a 2 and a half hour journey for us so we booked the lounge as it was an afternoon flight as well and knew we could probably do with the peace and quiet before we got on the plane.
The lounge was our first experience so we didn’t really know what to expect from it. We were shown to a seating area because the lounge was fully booked that day. We were shown to two seats with a table in between. They set it out lovely in there with a seating area for couples, a business area with individual chairs and then family sections so you are separated out among the room.
The food was really good with lots of selections out. There were hot options but also a really good cold food selection. They had fridges full of soft drinks to help yourself with, hot drinks selections and then you had full bar service too. They also had prosecco behind the bar at a subsidised rate.
Have you been here?
